加拿大ISED认证新标准要求

一、ISED简介

ISED，是前身为IC(Industry Canada)，自2016年开始正式更名为Innovation,Science and Economic Development Canada（ISED），负责电子电器产品进入加拿大市场的认证事务。其负责产品大致为广播电视设备、信息技术设备、无线电设备、电信设备、工科医设备等，与美国FCC相似。

二、改名后的影响
1、所有授权信的抬头由原来的IndustryCanada替换为Innovation, Science and Economic DevelopmentCanada
2、原IC number更名为ISED Number，但其在标签上的表现形式不变。还是 IC:XXXXX-YYYYYYYYY

1、ISED 关于对无线设备测试实验室的新要求的决定
ISED Decisions on New Requirements for Wireless Device Testing Laboratories

Notice is hereby given that Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) will allow Certification Bodies to accept test reports from wireless test sites on file for testing completed prior to March 15, 2019, if uploaded to the Certification Engineering Bureau (CEB) system before June 15, 2019. This will allow an additional three(3) month grace period for projects that were already underway.

All testing performed after March 15, 2019 for new applications for certification shall be performed by an ISED recognized wireless testing laboratory.

Within this three (3) month grace period, Certification Bodies shall inform each manufacturer submitting a test report from a non-recognized Wireless Device Testing Laboratories that the reports from these laboratories will no longer be accepted after June 15, 2019.

2、ISED关于external thermostats的新要求
2019年12月31日起，外部温控器在加拿大市场上市需要满足ICES-003标准。

Extended the transition period for external thermostats to December 31, 2019.
 
Interference-Causing Equipment Standard ICES?003, Issue 6, sets out standard requirements for information technology equipment (ITE), including digital apparatus.
This document will come into force upon its publication on the Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada website. All external thermostats sold, offered for sale, manufactured, imported, distributed or leased on the Canadian market will have to comply with this issue of ICES-003 by December 31, 2019.
 
3、List of Changes:
（A）Updated Section 2.1 to clarify the definition of an ITE device.
（B）Updated Section 2.3 to include storage media.
（C）Updated Section 2.4 to clarify applicability of broadcasting equipment.
（D）Updated Section 3(b) to reference the latest version of ANSI C63.4-2014.
（E）Updated Section 4(e) to clarify that external thermostats are subject to the requirements of ICES-003 with a revised transition period outlined above the list of changes.

4、Note:
 Exemptions
The following types of ITE are exempt from all requirements set out in this standard:
(e): ITE used exclusively in an appliance or electrical machinery, e.g. dishwasher, clothes dryer, air conditioner (central or window), power tools, electric motors and generators. ITE that is not contained within the appliance does not qualify for this exemption (e.g. an external thermostat for a furnace or air conditioner).
